The Great Pyramids of Giza
Located in the suburbs of Cairo, the Great Pyramids of Giza are an incredible site to behold. Although existing in a state of disrepair, the pyramids of Khufu and Khafre are absolutely awe inspiring in their size, particularly given how ancient they are.Although even more ancient yet, are the magnificent pyramids at Saqqara, the Great Step Pyramid of Zoser and the Pyramid of Unas (more a pile of rubble). The early trial and error attempts at making a pyramid, Zoser exterior is impressive. Although not much to look at, Unas interior preservation is amazing and beautiful.
