Diving the Similan Islands
Not one to lie on a beach, my purpose for coming to the Similan’s is to dive. Supposedly the best dive site in Thailand, the reefs, sea life and caves are unbelievably amazing, even better than the Great Barrier Reefs. Unfortunately, I’m unable to share the spectacular beauty of diving the Similan’s with you because my camera doesn’t have the necessary red filter to bring out color, plus although I know I can take my camera significantly deeper than its 3 metre limit, I know I can’t take it to 30 metres. I did snorkel some though, including an extended jaunt with this friendly sea turtle.
