Singapore - The Lion City
In spite of its sterile reputation, Singapore is actually a nice place to visit. It's a beautiful city, one of the cleanest and most atheistically pleasant big cities I've ever been in. Lacking natural beauty due to overdevelopment, the city created its own pretty things by lining its freeways with trees and making its own waterfalls and natural looking rock formations. In addition, the city doesn't seem to be plagued by the problems of other big cities, such as traffic, pollution and poverty. Plus, the huge variety of inexpensive food is wonderful, particularly because you can eat whatever you want without having to worry about getting sick like the rest of Southeast Asia.
