After much work and many lamingtons, I've finally made it to Nelson, homebase for sea kayaking Abel Tasman National Park. A beautiful, quaint little town with wonderful seafood, Nelson is a nice place to be after two consecutive days of traveling by bus. The opportunity to sea kayak and hike through the pristine coastline of Abel Tasman National Park definitely made the stop well worth it, with the parks hidden beaches and stunning scenery.
